Ongoing industrialization and the increased production of luxury goods created a need for modern advertising and sales strategies. Large billboards in public space and sales displays in shops were not the only means of winning customers. An increasingly important role was played by product catalogues and advertising supplements, which had become less expensive to produce thanks to modern printing processes.
You will find a selection of these lovingly designed promotional inserts and product catalogs in the exhibition segment "Berlin, Berlin."
